What’s The Dream?

Friends,

I have reviewed DVDs of various conference presentations and a few points stuck with me that I think might be useful in taking this project forward.
One point is this concept of “World Class” Bill Strickland put forward as necessary for 1) drawing the right crowd, and 2) setting the right tone.
Another concept in many presentations is a sense of high purpose – or what I might call High Dreaming.
The third “anchor concept” from Chip Conely’s presentation is “meeting unanticipated customer needs.”
With this as a starting point, I invite the group to share (on this blog) their thoughts on three elements when thinking of future Business & Consciousness conferences. That is:
- What does “World Class” look like to you?
- What “Dreaming” do you bring with you to this project?
- What are the “Unanticipated Needs” we hope to address with future conferences?
With this as starting point – let’s see how far we can get. AND if you want to suggest additional or different questions . . . you should of course do so. Please click on the “comments” button below and let us know what you think!

Great to be on!

Hi Everyone:
Thanks for the 2 posts already.
I've spoken with James Berry at the Message Co. I've asked him to give us a breakdown of the costs of the conference so we can know where the money goes.

In addition, I've asked, and he's agreed, to set up a separate account which will be held in 'trust' so that anyone who contributes to the next conference will know that their money will only be used for that conference and not to pay for any loses on this one we just had. In addition, the money will only be used if James does in fact choose to go ahead with the next conference.

Getting Started . . .

Hey gang,

A few quick notes on using a blog for those new to the process.
- If there is something you want to generally share or discuss with the group at large, click the "New Post" button near the upper right of the "View Blog" window
- If you want to comment on, or contribute to, a "Post," click on "comments" at the bottom of that particular Post
- If you have specific matters to discuss with an individual, email them directly and do not use this blog . . . unless you want to invite everyone else to "comment"
- Information on this blog is open. That means, everyone on the net can read it, but only those invited can make Posts and comments. I can later restrict access to listed users only (us) if that is what people want.
- Finally: you must log on to the blog to check what is going on. You will not receive emails with updates. I did this so people's email boxes would not get flooded, but this means you must be active in logging on to the blog to see what is happening.

Let me know if you have any questions - Google is always updating/ revising this software, so I get to learn it along with you.
